"Prince's Trust"

a novel written by Robin Chalmers

resident of Monikie, Scotland.

"The Cameron Family is getting together for a long awaited climbing holiday in the majesty of the Scottish Highlands.  Little do they know that Russian troops will soon be swarming over their beloved hills.

As Russia trembles on the brink of anarchy, the Communist old guard wait in the wings.  They are hungry for power and their strategy - codename 'Red Fox' - is about to be unleashed on an unsuspecting world.  The British Prime Minister, himself a KGB agent, is deeply involved in two aspects of 'Red Fox' - the control of the world's oil supplies, and the kidnapping of the British Royal Family for ransom.

So when Prince James's helicopter is blasted out of the sky over the mountain where the Camerons have set up camp, their lives take a dramatic turn.  It is up to them to get the Prince to a rendezvous point on the Island of Skye, but their only route is through mountains crawling with Russian Special Forces!

When the Camerons' best friend - a paratrooper Joe Thorpe - bumps into them, they feel blessed by his expertise.  But why does he put them in danger of detection by transmitting radio messages?  Is he really trying to stall their plans?  All is not as it should be.  life-shattering events await the Camerons out in the wilderness, but they have no choice but to press on if they are to earn their Prince's trust!
